Landscape photos

For this assignment we had to take pictures of landscape using the different types of exposure compensations. I took pictures of Forest Park and Mastidon Park. Some pictures had a foreground, middle ground and background. I noticed that the higher the number of exposure, the lighter the picture and the lower the number of exposure, the darker the picture. I also used an ISO of 100 and 200 and sunlight as my white balancing.

Electronic Flash

For this assignment, we had to use the different types of flashes on our cameras and experiment with slow sync. flash. I used auto, slow sync., auto/red eye, and forced flash to see what that does to the picture. I noticed that my flash stopped my mom in mid jump without being blurry and on slow sync. mode it made the pictures blurry.

Photo Journalism

For this assignment, we had to take pictures of an event. Unfortunately, no one would let me use them for my project so, I had to improvise and do it myself. Therefore, I didn't have much fun with this project . However, I did get some pretty yummy cookies out of it! I also realized that it would be easier to video tape something than to take a bunch of pictures instead. I used florescent light as my white balance and my highest ISO setting for this assignment.

Portrait and ISO

I took pictures of my dogs, Toby and Fluffy for this assignment. I used low ISOs for taking pictures outside and high ISOs for taking pictures inside. I noticed the pictures that I took inside were grainy and the ones that I took outside were nice and sharp.
